This week, I had the privilege of speaking at a hearing organized by the European Parliament’s special committee on the European Democracy Shield, representing Make.org and Association Civic Tech Europe – ACTE.

The hearing focused on the critical topic of Generative AI and its implications for democracy, bringing together MEPs, experts and stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by these rapidly evolving technologies.

The hearing was an important step in addressing the challenges posed by generative AI and exploring ways to protect our democratic principles and make our societies more resilient. It provided valuable insights into the actions needed to ensure a secure and democratic future for all.
